Premature ovarian failure (POF) is a common endocrine disease causing female infertility in women aged less than 40 years. it is related to very early aging of the ovaries.
Causes of POF are unknown, hormone replacement therapy cannot recover ovarian function.
Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) are highly important because of their regenerative properties. Human mesenchymal stem cell (hMSC) transplantation has a promising treatment for POF. MSCs are multipotent stem cells that have poor immunogenicity.
